Today's broadcast of "Story of the Day When You Bite Your Tail" (directed by Lee Geun-byul, Lee Dong-won, and Ko Hye-rin, hereafter referred to as "Kkokkomu") tells the story of the worst serial rapist "Barbari" who had 184 victims over nearly eight years, and how he was apprehended. Furthermore, Kang Daniel, Narsha, and Jeong Dong-hwan from MeloMance will appear as listeners to reveal the story of how they captured the notorious rapist "Barbari."
The series of rapes committed by Barbari in the Daejeon area from 1999 shocked South Korea, with a staggering 184 victims aged between their teens and 40s over about eight years, occurring multiple times a day with various individuals. As the horrifying details of the case were revealed, Narsha said, "If it happened to me, I don't think I could do anything," showing deep sympathy for the victims, while Jeong Dong-hwan expressed his outrage, saying, "We have to catch this madman."
In particular, there are cases among the victims where friends lured in through threats also became victims, leading to lifelong scars and guilt. All the police reportedly expressed their unanimous desire, saying, "We want to catch him desperately."
Therefore, in "Kkokkomu," the program reveals the true face of Barbari Lee Joong-gu and how he was caught. He appeared to be an exceedingly ordinary man with children.
