Lee Jong-suk, Mun Ka-young, Kang Yoo-seok, Ryu Hye-young, and Lim Sung-jae’s ‘Law and The City’ commute scene has been captured.
The new tvN weekend drama ‘Law and The City’ (written by Lee Seung-hyun, directed by Park Seung-woo, planned by CJ ENM Studios, produced by Chorokbaem Media) will premiere on July 5th (Saturday), revealing commute teaser videos, a return home teaser video, and a poster for ‘Law and The City’, raising expectations for the workplace lives of the five associate lawyers (lawyers employed by a law firm and receiving a salary).
The revealed teaser video shows the commute of associate lawyers in the Hyungmin Building within Seocho-dong legal town, where different law firms are located on each floor. In contrast to Bae Mun-jung (played by Ryu Hye-young), who hurriedly boards the elevator holding a takeout cup in one hand, the leisurely coffee-drinking Jo Chang-won (played by Kang Yoo-seok) and Ha Sang-ki (played by Lim Sung-jae) evoke laughter.
Among the ‘Avengers of law’ with the longest experience, Ahn Joo-hyung (played by Lee Jong-suk) arrives at work early, showing off his professionalism as he handles a mountain of work piled up one by one. First-year associate lawyer Kang Hee-ji (played by Mun Ka-young) is also busy managing her morning tasks with coffee, a must-have item for office workers.
As lunchtime approaches, those working on their respective floors gather on the rooftop and start discussing their meal options, saying, ‘What should we eat?’ It raises curiosity about the choices the five individuals will make before this crucial and cautious moment of the day for office workers.
After enjoying a blissful lunch hour, as the sun sets and quitting time approaches, the five colleagues prepare to return home. The numerous coffee cups piled up on their desks hint at their exhausting day, while the ‘Avengers of law’ gathered in the lobby cheerfully shout, ‘Ganmack (light beer)?’ as they exit the office. Interest is focused on the story of these lunchtime buddies who start with coffee and end the day with beer.
In the newly released commute poster, the confident steps of the ‘Avengers of law’ navigating the densely packed Seocho-dong legal town filled with various law firms and offices are captured. The phrase, ‘We will commute to Seocho-dong today as well,’ raises anticipation for the lawyers' workplace life that will unfold in Seocho-dong.
