Hui and Jin-ho of the global boy group Pentagon, solo artist Yuju, and dancers Lia Kim and Lee Yu-jung from 1MILLION will appear as masters on SBS's large-scale global boy group audition program 'B:MY BOYZ' (hereinafter 'Be My Boys'), which will air for the first time on the 14th.
'Be My Boys' is a new concept boy group audition that seeks to find 'the most iconic boy on earth' to share a blue summer with K-POP fans. After a long preparation period with SBS, the elite global boys have been selected and are currently interacting with fans through diverse content ahead of the first broadcast.
In particular, the unique format of 'Be My Boys,' where existing top idols select the next idol, is expected to attract K-POP fans' anticipation as it has been announced that senior top boy groups currently active will appear in each round.
In this context, the masters will work alongside the contestants in a different role during the preparation process, providing practical advice and coaching. Hui will focus on producing, Jin-ho and Yuju will serve as vocal masters, and Lia Kim and Lee Yu-jung will shine as dance masters.
First, Hui is not only known for Pentagon's songs but is also a hitmaker known for composing Wanna One's 'Energetic' and has experience in auditions. Jin-ho, who worked as the main vocalist of Pentagon alongside Hui, and Yuju, who has established herself as a solo artist beyond K-POP girl groups, will serve as vocal instructors. Additionally, globally recognized dancers Lia Kim and Lee Yu-jung from 1MILLION plan to take charge of the dance part with stunning choreography and performances.
Following MCs Miyeon and Dex, the solid lineup of masters has heightened interest in the completeness of the participants' performances on 'Be My Boys.' The potential of 'Be My Boys', which will be proven through skill, is generating excitement among prospective viewers.
'Be My Boys' will air for the first time on the 14th at 5:20 p.m., and a round 2 audition recording will take place tomorrow (6th) with an audience.
