Singer Oh Seung-ha is showcasing a unique stage chemistry with her senior Nam Jin.
Oh Seung-ha received a guest invitation to Nam Jin's 60th debut anniversary concert, the '2025 Nam Jin Nationwide Tour,' and participated in the performances that started on the 10th of last month at Seongsan Art Hall, continuing in Chuncheon, Busan, Daejeon, and Ansan.
Having unexpectedly received a surprise invitation from Nam Jin after hearing Oh Seung-ha's song, she stepped on stage, and she gained confidence as she was met with cheers and applause from Nam Jin's fans.
Oh Seung-ha, who has announced her participation in Nam Jin's nationwide tour scheduled until the end of the year, including Iksan and Daegu, expressed her gratitude by stating, "I always feel the encouragement not only from my senior, Mr. Nam Jin, but also from the support of the fans."
Generally, when participating as a guest in famous singers' concerts, one often only sings their own songs; however, in this nationwide tour, Nam Jin and Oh Seung-ha are presenting duet stages and receiving positive responses. Audience members watching their performance exclaimed, "It feels like watching a performance between a father and daughter," offering enthusiastic support.
Recently, singers have been showcasing duet stages on trot music broadcasts; however, since duet songs are not common in the trot genre, they are consistently drawing a strong reaction. Nam Jin and Oh Seung-ha evoke nostalgia among the audience with their duet song "Just the Two of Us."
Nam Jin is also showing a special fondness for his younger junior singer Oh Seung-ha. Although he is the main character of the concert, he does not hesitate to advise her to actively promote her songs, to which Oh Seung-ha remarked, "Singing on stage with my senior feels like a dream, and I am genuinely moved by his caring heart."
Oh Seung-ha is a trot singer and a successor of the national intangible heritage Gyeonggi folk song, who won the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Award at the 21st Gangwon Provincial Gyeong and Seo-do and Gangwon Song Contest. After gaining public recognition by appearing in TV Chosun's 'Miss Trot 3' in 2024, she continues her activities with the songs released at the end of last year, "The Man from Nowhere" and "A Night in Bundang."
