The group ITZY has unveiled the teaser video and photos for their first comeback song in 2025, “Girls Will Be Girls.”
ITZY will release their new mini album, “Girls Will Be Girls,” along with the title track of the same name on the 9th at 6 p.m.
While various teasing content such as the trailer video, promotion scheduler, concept photos, and tracklist is being opened sequentially on JYP Entertainment’s official social media channels, the teaser and photos for the new song music video were first unveiled at midnight on the 4th.
The revealed music video teaser left a strong impression with its high-quality visuals and Lia’s narration, “Somebody said, ‘Be yourselves,’ so that’s what we did.” The teaser sparked curiosity about what kind of adventure the girls, each resisting the threats they face in their own way—from Lia running into an unknown place in a tense situation, to Yuna with a scar by one eye, Ryujin with a serious expression, and Yeji showcasing thrilling car action, culminating with Chaeryeong pulling back a bow—will unfold.
The title track “Girls Will Be Girls” is a dance song characterized by its dynamic beat and grand vocal harmony, drawing attention to the spectacular performance that “K-pop’s representative performance queen” ITZY will deliver.
On the day of the release, ITZY will hold a countdown live at 5 p.m. to celebrate their comeback with fans. At 6 p.m., all songs included in the new mini album, “Girls Will Be Girls,” will be available for streaming on music sites.
