Actress Kim Bu-sun sent a video letter to President Lee Jae-myung.
On the 4th, Kim Bu-sun mentioned President Lee Jae-myung on her YouTube channel "Kim Bu-sun TV," saying, "When I met you a long time ago, I directly said someone like you should be president. It seemed like you would become president, and we exchanged good wishes. But you did it."
She also expressed her somewhat complex feelings, saying, "It has been very difficult. I have not been able to associate with people in the world for a long time."
She then said to President Lee Jae-myung, "I hope you can let go a little now. Regardless of political parties, gender, age, those who have and have not learned, Jeolla Province, Gyeongsang Province, those who have and have not, please be a good leader. Please show that our society is far from fairness and common sense. Then I will be okay."
Additionally, she conveyed her wish, saying, "Please create a good welfare state. Don't you know how fleeting life and power are when we reach our age? (People) all die. Death and popularity, being president, are all momentary. So, I hope you become a good president who can be remembered after death."
Meanwhile, Kim Bu-sun recently expressed anger over an affair rumor involving singer Kim Heung-kook and took legal action.
