Broadcaster Oh Jeong-yeon reported on her recent situation after being cut off during an overseas trip due to a shocking incident.

On the 3rd, Oh Jeong-yeon uploaded a video taken while scuba diving in Ishigaki Island, Japan, on her social account, saying, "I welcomed a manta ray! The visibility is good, there are many of them, and it's sheer bliss."

But she relayed the unexpected situation, saying, "I had that, but my cell phone fell into the vast sea! I guess I paid for only seeing good things."

She continued, "I believe the manta will be offered to the Dragon King as a sacrifice, and will take good care of me from now on," adding, "I was largely unreachable for three days, but I'm available now."

Having safely returned to Korea, Oh Jeong-yeon said, "After returning, I also met my new phone and voted, having a fulfilling day. I, too, and Korea will embrace a new mindset for a turnaround, fighting!" as she shared a voting confirmation photo.

Meanwhile, shortly after dropping her phone, she shared a photo of herself leisurely drinking beer, showing her cheerful side by saying, "I dropped my phone in the sea and shook off my worries with a beer."

Oh Jeong-yeon began her broadcasting career as an announcer at Cheongju MBC in 2004 and joined KBS as a public announcer in 2006. After leaving her job in 2015, she worked as a freelance broadcaster, making her acting debut in 2016 in the MBC drama "Working Mom Parenting Daddy." Since then, she has been active in various fields, appearing in dramas such as "Mine" and "Strong Woman Do Bong-soon."
