Comedian Jung Jong-cheol certified his first trip after marriage with his wife to Saipan and expressed his genuine feelings about family and parenting.
On the 4th, Jung Jong-cheol posted on his Instagram, saying, "My people, it’s Okju-bu^^" along with photos of the couple's trip to Saipan. He then reflected on his more than 20 years dedicated to parenting, having given birth to his first son Si-hoo in 2007, his second son Si-hyeon in 2009, and his third child Si-ah in 2010, in a lengthy message.
He noted, "There were times when I was exhausted from parenting, exhausted from housework, and my energy was depleted, wondering, 'When can we travel together like we did when we were dating?'" He also mentioned that when his eldest child reached the age to vote, the child said, 'Mom and Dad, go travel!' which made him very proud.
However, when the couple said they were going on a trip, the children were greatly disappointed, saying, "Grandma will come!" Jung Jong-cheol humorously remarked, "The kids were all very disappointed^^ ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ," eliciting laughter.
The destination this time was Saipan, where Jung Jong-cheol and his wife visited during the early stages of their relationship. He stated, "I returned to Saipan, where I first went with Papi 20 years ago," adding, "Although tourist numbers have decreased after the pandemic, it allowed us to relax more comfortably."
He followed up, saying, "Although it was a short trip of 3 nights and 4 days, I felt compensated for the parenting life of the past 20 years," showing signs of being moved.
Jung Jong-cheol has been loved for his character "Okdongja," and recently has been actively sharing cooking and family life on social media under the nickname "Okju-bu." Jung Jong-cheol married former actress Hwang Gyu-rim in 2006, and they have one son and two daughters.
