Previously, JK Kim Dong-wook publicly supported Kim Moon-soo, a candidate from the People Power Party, ahead of this election.

This is not the first time JK Kim Dong-wook has made such political comments. In March, he publicly criticized singer Lee Seung-hwan for attending a candlelight vigil calling for the impeachment of former President Yoon Suk-yeol, saying, “Politicians going to take pictures during a national disaster like wildfires and senior singers singing at a candlelight gathering, well….”
Meanwhile, JK Kim Dong-wook is known to be a Korean-Canadian who holds Canadian citizenship. Despite this, he is one of the few entertainers who openly expresses his political beliefs.
