Due to their popularity, fans from across the country and overseas created a bustling scene.
At this pop-up store, visitors can directly taste three menus created by Ryu Soo-young, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Gi-hyun during their study abroad in the Portuguese port city of 'Porto'. The dishes include Ryu Soo-young's 'Cream Cod Roll Pasta', Yoon Kyung-ho's 'Budekki Bread', evolved from 'Yuri Ping' at 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call', and Gi-hyun's 'Gi-hyun Son Ang Pie', who is currently showcasing his multifaceted abilities as the 'secret weapon'.
Beyond just watching 'Ryu Nam Saeng' on broadcast, numerous people visited the pop-up store to taste the 'Food Genius Trio' dishes. Photos released show the cast making food and interacting with visitors. On the second day of the opening, on the 1st, the 'Ryu Nam Saeng' pop-up store had to stop taking waiting applicants at the site due to the crowd, allowing visitors to enter on a first-come, first-served basis, drawing explosive reactions. The satisfaction level of viewers who tasted the three menus after waiting in long lines was also high, and the popularity of the 'Study Abroad Cuisine' is expected to continue until the closing date on the 8th.
The pop-up store also sells various original goods featuring the character 'Ryu Siki' that represents 'Ryu Nam Saeng'. Kitchen items such as aprons, kitchen towels, and tumblers for those wanting to recreate the culinary passion from 'Ryu Nam Saeng' are available, as well as items that make one want to travel immediately, including T-shirts, caps, disposable cameras, and various stationery with a collectible value of 500%.
The first pop-up store of 'Ryu Nam Saeng', showcasing Ryu Soo-young, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Gi-hyun's Portuguese study-abroad cuisine, will be operated until Sunday, June 8, at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido. Following this, a second pop-up store will be held at Hyundai Department Store in Pangyo from Saturday, June 21, to Sunday, June 29, featuring the yet-to-be-revealed 'Brunei Study Abroad Cuisine'.
Meanwhile, T-Cast will donate the proceeds from the 'Study Abroad Student Anam Seon' pop-up store. Ryu Soo-young, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Gi-hyun, who are on their first cooking study abroad, expressed their intention to share the 'Study Abroad Recipes', which they reimagined with their unique kick, reflecting the will of the cast to give back to the love they have received.
