The group Stray Kids held a solo concert at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, USA, becoming the 'first K-pop 4th generation group' to do so, revalidating their unique global presence.
Stray Kids held solo performances at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, USA, on May 31 and June 1 (local time) as part of their worldwide tour 'Stray Kids World Tour 'dominATE''. Originally, they planned to hold one performance on May 31, but due to enthusiastic support, an additional performance was added on June 1, totaling two shows for fans.
SoFi Stadium is renowned as one of the world's premier luxury venues, having hosted major stars such as The Rolling Stones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, BTS, and TWICE. It currently serves as the home stadium for the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers of the National Football League (NFL) and is also set to be used as the opening and closing ceremony venue for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
With an overwhelming scale highlighted by a massive round screen on the ceiling, Stray Kids delivered a parade of 30 hit songs, ranging from their debut track 'District 9' to their latest song 'GIANT (Korean Ver.)', during approximately three hours of performance time. The audience, filled with passion and joy, erupted in chorus and loud cheers.
After successfully completing their concert at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles in March 2023 for their second world tour 'Stray Kids 2nd World Tour "MANIAC"' ("Maniac"), Stray Kids made a grand entrance into a North American stadium for the first time in two years, holding a solo concert at SoFi Stadium with a capacity more than three times larger. The eight members expressed their gratitude by saying, "We are very grateful to all the STAYs (fandom name) who came today. We are incredibly happy to be able to return the joy and love you have given us. This moment is possible because of all of you. We feel even more grateful through this tour."
Having successfully completed their concert in Los Angeles, Stray Kids will continue the tour at Globe Life Field in Arlington on June 6 and 7. Their world tour 'dominATE', which has a total of 55 performances across 34 regions, is set to continue to Rome on July 30, drawing a total of 2.2 million spectators and setting a new record for the 'largest audience for a single K-pop tour'.
