The publicly released image of the counting broadcast shows Lee Jae-myung of the Democratic Party of Korea at 51.7% and Kim Moon-soo of the People Power Party at 39.3%. Lee Seung-hwan mentioned this by saying, "Moving forward from regression" and appeared pleased.
Previously, Lee Seung-hwan had also expressed his political views directly by posting about the impeachment of former President Yoon Seok-youl.
