In KBS2 'Study and Play', Shin Hyun-joon overcame his elementary quiz struggles and dramatically reconciled with his two sons, bringing warmth to the final episode.

In the final episode of KBS2's variety show 'Study and Play', which aired on 2nd, a total of seven families challenged the elementary school exchange quiz, including the integrated MC trio Kang Ho-dong, Kim Ho-young, and Lee Soo-yeon, along with Kim Jung-tae and his son Kim Si-hyun (6th grade), Shin Hyun-joon and his sons Shin Min-jun (3rd grade) & Shin Ye-jun (1st grade), Kim Byung-hyun and his sons Kim Tae-yoon (5th grade) & Kim Joo-seong (2nd grade), Moon Hee-joon and his daughter Moon Hee-yul (2nd grade), Lee Seung-yoon and his son Lee Yeon-jun (5th grade), Kim Mi-ryeo and her daughter Jung Mo-ah (5th grade) & son Jung I-on (1st grade), Kim Kyung-ah and her daughter Kwon Ji-yul (4th grade).

The first question of the day was a 6th-grade English quiz, where Kim Byung-hyun's son Tae-yoon humorously revealed, "Dad, there's a rancid smell coming from your face," turning it into an English question, which drew laughter. All the parents answered incorrectly, and Kim Kyung-ah noted, "I learned from this opportunity, and that's enough. I'm not embarrassed for getting it wrong." Shin Hyun-joon praised her, saying, "You're such a straightforward mom," giving a thumbs up, to which his son Min-jun replied, "Dad, it's not 'straightforward'; it's 'clear-cut,' isn't it? Do you know how many blunders you've made since last week?" eliciting more laughter.

For a moment, there was a dramatic reconciliation between Shin Hyun-joon and his two sons during the 4th-grade math session. Feeling disheartened by their dad's continued struggles, Min-jun and Ye-jun were initially skeptical yet restrained their joy when Shin Hyun-joon got the right answer to the previous question, which was a 5th-grade social studies quiz. However, when they joyfully answered the 4th-grade math question 'Calculating the interior and exterior angles of a triangle,' they finally ran to their dad for hugs and celebrated together, radiating warmth. Kang Ho-dong then asked Kim Byung-hyun's son Tae-yoon, "If you were to compare your dad to a shape, what would it be?" To which Tae-yoon responded, "My dad is a circle, but one side is pointed. It might look like that, but he's really sweet inside," revealing his affectionate thoughts, making Kim Byung-hyun's eyes well up with emotion as he remarked, "What a good son," unable to hide his pride.

Meanwhile, the signature problem of 'Study and Play', the 'Relay Quiz of Horror', elicited roaring laughter as absurd wrong answers poured in. With a related term about animals given, participants had to say an associated proverb within five seconds; 'Poet Dad' Kim Jung-tae came up with the plausible wrong answer, "Even a small fish has its season," which drew laughter. Also, receiving the keyword 'pig,' Kim Kyung-ah exclaimed, "A pig must jump to be a flea! A pig doesn't go a thousand miles! A pig in a well! A pig will see sunlight one day!" unleashing a barrage of humorous wrong answers.

In the 2nd-grade integrated subject 'Object', a quiz was posed to guess the 'item used for erasing letters instead of an eraser', where Shin Hyun-joon and Kim Byung-hyun seemingly answered in unison with 'saliva,' certifying their chemistry as the best duo of 'Study and Play.' In a subsequent special quiz, the children and their parents enjoyed a warm communication time by guessing the names of items used by the parents' generation. Furthermore, in the 1st-grade integrated subject 'Our Country', they reinforced basic national knowledge by answering the lyrics of the third stanza of the national anthem, and in the final 'After School Activity' time, everyone bonded while enjoying a quiz that involved describing the choreography of IVE's 'ATTITUDE' based solely on hearing it. Amidst this, the 'oldest dad' Shin Hyun-joon, who is known to be the weakest in K-POP, humorously confused IVE with Ivy, questioning, "Is IVE a musical actor?" making everyone burst into laughter. The day’s winner, who garnered a total of 5 points showcasing exceptional skills, was Lee Seung-yoon, who achieved victory.

Meanwhile, 'Study and Play' showcased parents enjoying elementary school lessons from their children's perspective, capturing moments of laughter and empathy, focusing on family love rather than scores, presenting a wholesome quiz show enjoyable for all generations. Additionally, the nation's MC Kang Ho-dong, 5th-grade student Lee Soo-yeon, and kind-hearted, charismatic uncle Kim Ho-young effectively bridged the gap between parents and children, creating synergy, while watching the rapid growth of star children also provided a wealth of enjoyment.
