Singer Jung Dong-won casts first vote at age 18 in South Korea

Singer Jung Dong-won has completed his first-ever vote.

On the 3rd, Jung Dong-won posted a photo along with the message "vote completed" on his personal account.

The released photo shows the banner of the 2nd polling station located at the Seogyo-dong community center. This time, Jung Dong-won, born in 2007 and now 18 years old, is eligible to participate in the vote.

Voting rights are granted to citizens who are 18 years old or older on the election date. Consequently, the 21st presidential election includes those born on June 4, 2007, and since Jung Dong-won was born on March 19, 2007, this election marks his first-ever vote.

Meanwhile, the 21st presidential election will take place from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. at 14,295 polling stations nationwide.
