The singer G-Dragon's side has belatedly clarified the dating rumors with TWICE's Sana.
On the 2nd, G-Dragon's agency, Galaxy Corporation, stated, "We are reaching out to correct misunderstandings regarding the recently spread dating rumors about G-DRAGON."
The agency explained, "G-DRAGON filmed YouTube web entertainment 'Good Day' last broadcast on April 14, the day after the last broadcast of MBC 'Good Day,' and then, after watching 'Coldplay's concert in Goyang' on April 22, he posted a photo. During the process, TWICE performed as a special guest, and he simply tagged Sana's personal account on SNS as a sign of friendliness shortly after the filming."
It continued, "The 'Cool Interview' was conducted out of friendship with Dex, and it has been arranged that Sana would appear together the day before recording. The reason for not addressing the dating rumors at first was the thought it might spoil the appearance of the 'Cool Interview.'"
Earlier in April, G-Dragon attended the Coldplay concert held at the Goyang Sports Complex in Goyang City, and he posted videos and photos from the concert on SNS.
Among them, G-Dragon caught attention by tagging Sana's account, which is not the official account of TWICE, along with photos from TWICE's performance where he was a guest. In the photo, Sana's image was shown facing the electronic board, leading internet users to speculate that the two were in a romantic relationship.
Subsequently, G-Dragon deleted the post, and the agency also maintained silence over the dating rumors, raising further curiosity. On the 30th, it was reported that G-Dragon would appear as a guest in the web entertainment 'Cool Interview with Sana and Dex,' concluding the dating rumors as a misunderstanding.
