Netflix entertainment show 'Devil's Plan 2' winner Jung Hyun-kyu issued a second apology letter, clarifying his position, but the vlog video he released in the meantime has become a spark for another controversy.
On the 1st, Jung Hyun-kyu unveiled a video titled 'Devil's Plan 2 schedule vlog' on his YouTube channel.
The video contained behind-the-scenes stories outside of the show, such as photoshoot scenes and outings with the cast, showcasing a close bond among the grants members.
However, shortly after the video was released, criticism towards Jung Hyun-kyu did not subside.
In the post, Jung Hyun-kyu stated, 'I have reflected and learned a lot through my grants in Devil's Plan,' and added, 'I apologize to those who felt uncomfortable. I will strive to become a better person.'
Nevertheless, criticism regarding the vlog upload continues, with comments such as 'He talks about being reflective, but his actions are the opposite.'
On the other hand, some argue that 'it’s his freedom to post whatever he wants on his personal channel' and that 'while criticism is valid, excessive negative comments have crossed the line.'
Meanwhile, Jung Hyun-kyu gained recognition through the 2022 TVING entertainment show 'Transit Love 2' and garnered attention for winning the final prize in the recently concluded 'Devil's Plan 2.'
