J-Hope of BTS successfully wrapped up his Asia tour.
On May 31 and June 1, J-Hope held the 'j-hope Tour 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' in JAPAN' at Kyocera Dome Osaka, engaging with over 80,000 fans over the two days. The sold-out concert was simultaneously broadcast live in theaters across 70 countries and regions worldwide, sharing the emotional experience with countless fans.
The Osaka concert marks the finale of the world tour, which began in February at KSPO DOME in Seoul and covered a total of 31 shows across 15 locations in North America and Asia. He drew approximately 470,000 spectators during this tour, proving his strength as a solo artist once again.
On this day, J-Hope emerged to the enthusiastic cheers of the audience filling Kyocera Dome and showcased tracks from his first solo album 'Jack In The Box,' including 'What if...' and 'Pandora's Box.' He energized the crowd by saying, 'This is the last city of the overseas tour. It is truly an honor to share this performance with you all. Let's have the best time today.'
The performance, featuring songs from the special album 'HOPE ON THE STREET VOL.1', highlighted J-Hope's street dance skills. Additionally, his performances of 'Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)' and 'MONA LISA,' released in March, captivated the audience with contrasting atmospheres.
The medley of BTS's hit songs added to the excitement in Kyocera Dome. When 'MIC Drop - Japanese ver.-', 'Fake Love (Japanese ver.)', and 'I Need U' started, the venue erupted in explosive cheers and perfectly synchronized fan chants.
At the end of the concert, J-Hope reflected, 'This tour was a significant challenge and a dream for me. It will be a beautiful memory and an unforgettable experience. While touring, I felt immense love from around the world. The stars of this performance are you all, ARMY. I will definitely come back.'
'HOPE ON THE STAGE' is J-Hope's first solo world tour after 12 years since his debut. The concert name 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' signifies 'J-Hope on stage,' while also embodying hope, wishes, dreams, and everything he desires coming to fruition on stage.
Meanwhile, J-Hope will hold the encore concert 'j-hope Tour 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' FINAL' at the main stadium of Goyang Sports Complex in Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang City, on the 13th to 14th. At 1 p.m. on the 13th, he will release a new digital single 'Killin It Girl (feat. GloRilla)' and introduce the stage for the first time during the encore concert.
