The band N.Flying shared their reflections as they celebrated their 10th anniversary.

N.Flying held an interview on the afternoon of the 2nd at the FNC Entertainment headquarters in Cheongdam-dong, Seoul, to commemorate the release of their second full album, ‘Everlasting,’ and discussed their new album.

Since their debut in 2015, N.Flying has released songs such as ‘Roof Room,’ ‘Spring Memories,’ ‘Oh Really,’ and ‘STARLIGHT,’ gaining love for their solid musicality.

Now marking their 10th anniversary this year, Seo Dong-sung said, “Honestly, I can hardly believe it. Has it really been 10 years already? Our feelings have remained the same. I am thankful that we can do this and believe that we have come this far because of the support and help of many people. It feels more amazing than turning thirty. I wonder how I can repay this feeling.”

Lee Seung-hyub also noted, “It feels like time has passed too quickly and I am very grateful to our fans. There have been many challenging moments over the past 10 years, but there have also been many joyful moments, and thinking about continuing to create these joyful moments makes me excited. I can’t believe it’s been 10 years. I still feel the passion of a rookie, and as I have discussed with our members, it seems we have gained more strength to continue as a band for a long time.”

When asked what word could describe N.Flying, Yoo Hwe-seung replied, “I think ‘our’ is the word. We have had so many stories. Over the past 10 years, we have faced many challenges, and even in difficult and urgent situations, we have navigated through step by step to get here.”

He added, “Since it is also the 10th anniversary and when we went up on stage at the new venue and saw all the fans filling the seats, everyone had the same look in their eyes. Many were crying, and the fact that such emotions were connected means we have all been on the same page all along. If we can continue to have this kind of relationship by your side, I feel confident we won’t have any fears moving forward.”

When asked what had been the most difficult part over the past 10 years, Yoo Hwe-seung remarked, “There are family members and people around me whom I want to impress, but there are times when things don’t go as I wish. I want to show our fans a cooler version of myself, but sometimes that doesn’t happen as I desire. I want to become a proud artist, but when it doesn’t go as planned, I remind myself to work harder for someday. Every moment felt urgent. As I continued, good moments came, and I found moments of gratitude, leading to this strong decade.”

He continued, “There have been many changes, and we have achieved good results, and with the new album and anniversaries, new changes and good results have approached us with more ambition. I want to create better music and become a more influential band.”

Kim Jae-hyun stated, “N.Flying, now at its 10th anniversary, feels like a staircase. We may progress slowly, but we seem to have built it as sturdily as possible. No matter how much time passes, it may be slow, but I want to create a solid staircase so that we can safely ascend it with our fans.”
