In the latest episode of "Fresh off the Sea," the crew nearly got caught throwing a surprise birthday party for Park Joon Myun.
The episode aired on the 1st, featuring Yum Jung-ah, Lim Ji-yeon, Lee Jae-wook, Kim Jae-hwa, and Yoon Kyung-ho almost revealing a surprise birthday party for Park Joon Myun.
That day, while eating Lim Ji-yeon's tteokbokki as a late-night snack, Park Joon Myun offered tissues to a sweating Lee Jae-wook. Then, while looking for wet wipes, he discovered pancake mix powder in the drawer and asked, "Why is the pancake mix in here? Who put it here?"
Earlier, Lim Ji-yeon had hurriedly hidden the pancake mix powder she bought without Park Joon Myun's knowledge. A flustered Lim Ji-yeon noted, "It was always there," evading the question, while Park Joon Myun pressed, "We bought pancake mix. Why did we buy it?"
Eventually, Kim Jae-hwa asked, "Kyung-ho, did you buy it to eat in the morning?" and Yoon Kyung-ho responded, "I wanted to have it with coffee in the morning." To this, Park Joon Myun asked, "Are you going to make pancakes?" Lee Jae-wook said, "Why were you hiding it? Just tell us," while Lim Ji-yeon pretended, "I hid it," to defuse the situation.
The next day, Yum Jung-ah and Lim Ji-yeon, who woke up first, held a meeting about the birthday party for Park Joon Myun. Yum Jung-ah said, "(Park Joon Myun) is like a detective. Why did you check that?" Lim Ji-yeon confessed, "I was really shocked. I was surprised."
