Top (Choi Seung-hyun), a member of the group Big Bang, made an appearance at the Netflix 'Squid Game 3' promotional event.

On the 1st (Korea time), the Netflix global fan event 'TUDUM 2025' was held at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California.

'TUDUM' is the largest global fan event for Netflix, named after the signature sound that plays when a Netflix work begins.

This year's event featured global stars such as Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, and Steven Yeun from 'The Rip', Guillermo del Toro, Oscar Isaac, and Mia Goth from 'Frankenstein', Jenna Ortega from 'Wednesday' Season 2, and Millie Bobby Brown from 'Stranger Things' Season 5, along with domestic stars like Lee Jung-jae, Lee Byung-hun, Park Sung-hoon, Kang Aesim, and Choi Seung-hyun from 'Squid Game'.

Particularly, attention was focused on Choi Seung-hyun, who appeared in public after a long time. After playing the washed-up rapper Thanos in 'Squid Game Season 2', released in December last year, Choi Seung-hyun returned to acting but was surrounded by controversy from the casting stage.

Following a 10-month prison sentence with a 2-year probation for marijuana use in 2016, Choi Seung-hyun faced negative reactions regarding his casting, and issues arose from suspicions of nepotism. Moreover, after the release of 'Squid Game Season 2', debates about his presence continued.

As a result, Choi Seung-hyun was excluded from all promotional activities for 'Squid Game Season 2', including the production conference and global showcase, but later held interviews to clarify various controversies.

However, leading up to the release of 'Squid Game Season 3', Choi Seung-hyun began participating in promotional activities by attending the official event that day. Wearing sunglasses, he greeted attendees by saying, "I’m sure you were surprised to see me, but I couldn't miss such a wonderful occasion."

He added, "I want to share some exclusive information about the upcoming new season of Squid Game with you all."

Additionally, Choi Seung-hyun has been sharing updates on social media about participating in various 'Squid Game' events happening overseas. As he has announced the start of his activities, many are eager to see what steps he will take next.
