The photo features the name "Sergeant Elio" along with the number "D-9." This indicates that there are 9 days left until V's discharge date. By uploading this, V seems to show his excitement ahead of his discharge.
Meanwhile, his profile image includes a recent photo of V taken during his military service. V is seen feeding a sheep while wearing his military uniform.
Fans who saw the photo left questions on the official fan communication platform Weverse, asking, "What is Elio?" and "Is he feeding a sheep?" V directly responded, saying, "It's the English name I used when I attended an English fairy tale school long ago," and, "Yes, I even bought some grass for it."
Meanwhile, V enlisted in the Army active duty on Dec. 11, 2023, and is currently fulfilling his defense duties in the Special Mission Unit of the 2nd Corps Military Police. He is set to be discharged on the 10th, the same day RM, who is serving in the 15th Infantry Division of the Army, will also be discharged.
The next day, on the 11th, Jimin and Jungkook are expected to complete their service and be discharged from the 5th Infantry Division of the Army. Following this, on the 21st, Suga, who is currently serving as a social service worker, will also be discharged, bringing all BTS members back to fans as a complete group.
