The group Stray Kids has successfully held a solo concert at San Francisco's Oracle Park, achieving the milestone of being the 'first K-pop boy group' to perform there and sell out all tickets.
Stray Kids held their solo concert as part of their world tour 'Stray Kids World Tour 'dominATE'' on the 28th (local time) at San Francisco's Oracle Park. Oracle Park is a venue where major global artists like Green Day and Lady Gaga have performed, and Stray Kids achieved the remarkable feat of being the first K-pop boy group to perform solo and sell out all tickets, demonstrating their immense popularity.
From their debut track 'District 9' to their latest release 'GIANT (Korean Ver.),' they filled their rich setlist with songs they've created themselves, showcased through vivid band live performances and powerful choreography, filling the venue with cheers at every moment. The parade of group hit songs such as 'Back Door,' 'Chk Chk Boom,' '神메뉴,' '特,' and 'MANIAC' thrilled the audience, while the unique unit stages featuring Han & Felix's 'Truman,' Changbin & I.N's 'Burnin' Tires,' Bang Chan & Hyunjin's 'ESCAPE,' and Lee Know & Seungmin's 'CINEMA' elevated the excitement to the highest levels.
As the concert concluded amidst great applause, all eight members expressed, "It is an honor to perform at Oracle Park, the home stadium of player Lee Jung-hoo. I feel that the energy from STAY (fan club name) completed this performance. STAY is more valuable and precious to us than any award. Thanks to STAY, we can always perform with confidence. We are always grateful."
Their world tour ''dominATE,'' which is unfolding with 'the largest scale to date' of 55 performances in 34 regions globally, will move to SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles from May 31 to June 1, continuing with 13 shows across 10 North American regions, including Arlington, Atlanta, Orlando, New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, and Toronto, followed by a stadium tour in six European regions with nine shows in July. Stray Kids has drawn 400,000 audiences with eight concerts in five regions of Latin America from March to April, and with four performances in Shizuoka in May, attracting 220,000 attendees. They are expected to gather a total of 2.2 million audiences throughout this world tour, setting a new record for the 'most attendees for a single K-pop tour.'
