EXO's Kai is actively working beyond music and performance in the magazine and content sectors in 2025.
Kai released his fourth mini-album 'Wait On Me' on April 21 and made a solo comeback after about two years, presenting a total of seven new songs, including the title track 'Wait On Me' and the pre-release song 'Adult Swim,' garnering positive responses while aiming to redefine and showcase a matured 'Kai style.'
Each track in this album, which captivates listeners worldwide with Kai's stylish performances, reached No. 1 in the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 30 regions globally, including France, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Thailand, as well as No. 1 in digital album sales on QQ Music, China's largest music platform.
In particular, following a successful comeback, Kai launched his first solo tour 'KAION,' recording 'sold-out' performances in both Seoul and Kuala Lumpur starting in May, and he will continue the momentum in June in Macau, Jakarta, and Singapore, then in July in Taipei and Manila, and in August in Bangkok, Yokohama, and Hong Kong across 10 regions in Asia.
Additionally, Kai has showcased 'Cover Star' moments in magazines for three consecutive months, grabbing attention in Esquire's April issue featuring Ralph Lauren, in W Korea's May issue featuring Hublot watches, and in Elle's June issue featuring Versace perfume, fully embodying the fashion, jewelry, and beauty sectors, widely recognized as a 'photo shoot master.'
Moreover, he also grants appearances in rich content, making guest appearances on 'Running Man,' 'Salon Drip,' 'Cell Phone KODE,' and 'Kader Jeongwon' to celebrate his comeback, and as a fixed MC on the popular web entertainment program 'Criminal: The Man Who Repeatedly Commits Crimes' where he is building rapport weekly with his unique warmth and sense of humor, raising expectations for his upcoming activities for the rest of the year.
