Singer Seo Joo-kyung revealed her tumultuous life.
On the episode aired on 29th, singer Seo Joo-kyung, known for the song 'A Bold Woman,' appeared on MBN's 'Special Report World.' Seo Joo-kyung stated, 'My song is listed in the Korean Guinness Book' and introduced the glamorous rumors surrounding her, saying, 'They say I earned 7 billion won, but I actually earned more than that.'
However, at home, Seo Joo-kyung is a joyful mother who enjoys her time with her beloved son and pet cat.
Seo Joo-kyung revealed, 'Usually women are said to have uterine fibroids, but just 3 to 4 months ago, I was told I had two fibroids, each 2 cm. However, I couldn't straighten my waist and had pain in my pelvis. After an ultrasound, it turned out the fibroids had grown to 10 cm. They grew rapidly and reached the endometrium, which made it difficult for me to have children.' She added, 'I couldn't have a child because I didn't know when my uterus might rupture, but I desperately wanted to become a mother and cried out because I couldn't.'
Perhaps having received Seo Joo-kyung's heart and love, her son Jang Sun-woo, although only 15 years old, is a child who cherishes his mother dearly. Jang Sun-woo expressed, 'If I have a wish, I hope mom doesn't get sick and lives a long time, and I hope to earn a lot of money to live happily later,' and even carried his mother on his back with his tall stature and strong build.
Seo Joo-kyung's singing career began at the age of 19. She recalled, 'Master Song Hae said to me, 'This is the amazing singer Seo Joo-kyung.' When I turned 29 and approached 30, I was invited to perform all over the country,' revealing the moment that changed her life.
Her singing career changed due to a late resurgence. However, at the age of 29, Seo Joo-kyung faced other hardships. She shared, 'Since I was young, I've always dreamed. I even write a dream journal. I dream every day for about 365 days. I dreamt about what would happen in the future,' and added, 'I experienced acute bleeding for no reason, kept murmuring to myself, and people said I wouldn't live past forty.'
Seo Joo-kyung said, 'I was scared. I had to sing, but there were mountains of work to do. So, the great elder rode the blade. I prayed after sacrificing a cow and a pig.' Despite receiving a spiritual calling at the young age of 29, she did not give up on her dream of becoming a singer. Seo Joo-kyung expressed, 'I didn't want to become a shaman. I prayed to be allowed to sing, promising to do good deeds and to give back all the money earned from my singing.'
Fearing death, he sought to experience it. Seo Joo-kyung lamented, 'I feel sorry that I couldn't spend more time with my child. Every year as he grows, it must feel different, and I regret not being able to share that with him,' but she quickly added, 'Thank you. Just, thank you all.'
Having relieved her mind, Seo Joo-kyung reflected, 'I thought I should live the rest of my life understanding with my heart rather than my head and loving.' She showed a broader and warmer heart regarding her remaining life.
