Singer and actor Cha Eun-woo has passed the final selection for the Army Military Band and is set to enlist as an active-duty member on July 28.

According to OSEN's report on the 29th, Cha Eun-woo's name was included in the list of successful candidates announced by the Military Manpower Administration on that day. Accordingly, Cha Eun-woo will enter the military on July 28 and receive basic military training, after which he will fulfill his defense duties in the Army Military Band.

His agency, Fantagio, also announced through the official fan cafe that 'Cha Eun-woo has received notice of final acceptance into the Army Military Band today and is scheduled to enter training on July 28.' The agency noted that in order to avoid congestion and prevent accidents on the day of enlistment, the location and time will be kept confidential, and there will be no separate events.

In fact, just two weeks ago, reports emerged that he 'had an interview,' and the actual acceptance and enlistment schedule have been quickly confirmed, leading to mixed feelings of disappointment and support among fans.

Earlier, news of Cha Eun-woo's military enlistment was first mentioned on the 9th. At that time, a representative from his agency revealed to OSEN that 'he applied for the Army Military Band and had an interview, and we are currently waiting as the acceptance announcement has not yet been made.' At that point, Cha Eun-woo's acceptance was still 'undecided,' but he eventually achieved final acceptance into the Military Band just two weeks later, and the enlistment schedule was promptly confirmed for July 28, marking the beginning of his official military service.

Cha Eun-woo is expected to complete approximately five weeks of basic military training at the Army Training Center, after which he will be assigned to the Military Band to continue his service. The agency added, 'We ask for a lot of support for Cha Eun-woo as he diligently fulfills his defense duties and returns in good health.'
