Cho Yi-hyun from 'Gyeonwoo and the Fairy' is back with a charming and lovable allure.

The new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama 'Gyeonwoo and the Fairy,' which will premiere on June 23, unveiled on the 29th the intriguing double life of MZ shaman Park Seong-ah (Cho Yi-hyun), who is possessed by gods.

'Gyeonwoo and the Fairy' is a romantic tale of first love featuring a boy destined to die and a MZ shaman girl who tries to prevent it. The story follows high school shaman Park Seong-ah, who confronts fate for her first love, as well as Baek Gyeon-woo (Choo Young-Woo), who defies his destiny through the ordinary happiness she brings him. The drama promises to deliver fresh excitement through the collaboration of director Kim Yong-wan, known for his outstanding directing in diverse genres like 'The Wind Blows,' 'Method,' and 'If You Wish Upon Me,' alongside writer Yang Ji-hoon.

Meanwhile, the recently released photos emphasize Park Seong-ah's unexpected charm. By day, she is an ordinary high school student; by night, she lives a double life as the famed 'Heavenly Fairy.' Her youthful and adorable smile is not much different from that of any eighteen-year-old high school student. Park Seong-ah, who cannot forsake her student identity due to her dream of wanting to be ordinary, finds her small but certain happiness in being called a typical student rather than the 'Heavenly Fairy.'

Park Seong-ah's charismatic moments in her role have also been captured. Her mystical aura while comforting the spirits of the deceased, along with her shamanic dance, captivates viewers. In another photo, Park Seong-ah, engulfed in flames and facing a ghost, demonstrates an intriguing presence. Her unwavering gaze reflects the charisma of the 'Heavenly Fairy.' Park Seong-ah is determined to thwart the misfortunes inherited by her first love, Baek Gyeon-woo, who is fated to die. It raises questions about how Park Seong-ah's bold first love protection mission will change her destiny.

Cho Yi-hyun, who felt destined to be in 'Gyeonwoo and the Fairy,' noted, "When I first read the script, it was solid and interesting. Since it blends not only romantic comedy but also various genres, I believe I can show diverse aspects." Speaking about her character Park Seong-ah, she described her as "young but mature, a person with a pure and bright soul." She added, "Seong-ah wants to be an ordinary student. I made an effort to express her bold charm, which is more about living earnestly in the present rather than the sadness of not being able to live an extraordinary life. I also practiced repeatedly, exchanging ideas with a consultant teacher to portray the 'shaman' Park Seong-ah realistically," further raising expectations.

Meanwhile, the new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama 'Gyeonwoo and the Fairy' will premiere on June 23 at 8:50 p.m.
