Actor Go Minsi, who is embroiled in accusations of school violence, denies the allegations and will not participate in the scheduled events.
On the 28th, Go Minsi's agency Mystic Story told OSEN, "It is true that Go Minsi will not attend," adding, "However, this is not due to the current issue (the bullying allegations). From our perspective, ensuring that the purpose of the event is not distorted is the top priority, and after discussions with the brand, we decided that Go Minsi would not attend this time."
Go Minsi was scheduled to attend a brand event taking place in a location in Seoul on the 29th, but ultimately will not attend. This is due to the recent controversy surrounding the allegations of school violence.
Earlier on the 26th, a post titled "We are the victims of actor Go OO's school violence" was published in an online community. The author, who is a middle school classmate of actress A, exposed anecdotes about A's poor behavior during school.
According to the post, the author claimed that A "engaged in school violence, extortion, verbal abuse, and mocked and threatened disabled students since middle school," and that she mobilized groups of delinquents from her surroundings to perpetrate school violence, habitually stealing items and money from her classmates and boasting about it, displaying serious ethical flaws.
The author continued, "A has continued her activities in the entertainment industry without any remorse and romanticizes her past as mere mistakes. She does not wish to receive any apologies or compensation, and we hope she will permanently cease her activities to prevent further harm."
Internet users who came across the post speculated that A was Go Minsi based on her name before it was changed, past photos, and apologies related to drinking during her school years. In response, Go Minsi's side dismissed the claims, stating, "This is completely unfounded."
Meanwhile, Go Minsi is currently appearing in the Genie TV show "Tastefully Yours."
