'ONE' Kim Sang-ho previewed his performance in the work.

On the 28th, at the Lotte Cinema Gunja Entrance in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, a production presentation for the Wave original 'ONE: High School Heroes' was held. The event was attended by actors Lee Jeong-ha, Kim Do-wan, Kim Sang-ho, Kim Joo-ryeong, Yoo Hee-je, Yook Jun-seo, Lim Seong-kyun, and director Lee Seong-tae.

'ONE: High School Heroes' is a high school action drama about Ui-gyeom (played by Lee Jeong-ha), who suffers from his father's oppression, and Yun-ki (played by Kim Do-wan), who wants to use his innate fighting abilities to form a group called 'High School Heroes' to explode their suppressed anger and overturn the hierarchy of school violence. It is based on the hit webtoon 'ONE' that has garnered 65 million views on KakaoPage and won the '2020 Today's Our Comic Award,' raising expectations.

In the show, Kim Sang-ho plays the role of Kim Seok-tae, who oppresses Ui-gyeom. He noted, "Growing up in a violent home, I inherit the violence. I don't hit my son but rather push him to study hard, saying that if he gets through this, he can live well. I can't say that with a smile." He added humorously, "I don't hit him."

He further explained, "The director said the seniors just need to hold the center. The kids will create the flying, fighting, and action energy, so I've been given the special order to just hold the center well as the two seniors, including actor Joo-ryeong, have done."

Kim Joo-ryeong, who plays Ui-gyeom's mother Myung Da-bin, said, "It’s completely different from my usual roles, so I am excited, and I think the viewers can also expect it. It’s an honor to be a mother to Jeong-ha. I want to express that going to the filming site was so happy, joyful, and even thrilling that it was wonderful. Initially, the Myung Da-bin role aims to protect our son Ui-gyeom from my husband Seok-tae's oppression. At first, she appears somewhat powerless, but seeing a changed Ui-gyeom, she vows to protect him, showcasing her transformation. I hope everyone can watch that development until the end."

In response, Lee Jeong-ha joked, "I was never hit by my parents," adding, "All new parents are precious. I deeply feel a son's love. At first, I thought it was love, but I realized I was losing my inner self. I’m grateful for being able to act on trying to find that."

Meanwhile, 'ONE: High School Heroes' will premiere on Wave on the 30th.
