"The trot queen is Song Ga-in." Although 'Mistrot' has run until season 3, it is still the original Song Ga-in that makes trot fans' hearts flutter.

On the 28th, Song Ga-in's representatives officially stated, "The 'Mistrot' season 1 TOP 10 members Kang Ye-seul, Kim Na-hee, Kim So-yu, Kim Hee-jin, Duri, Song Ga-in, Sook-hyung, Jeong Da-kyung, and Jeong Mi-ae (in alphabetical order) will hold the concert 'First Love' on July 12 at KBS Arena in Gangseo-gu, Seoul, across two performances at 1 p.m. and 6 p.m."

Through this, for the first time in six years since 'Mistrot' ended in 2019, a joint concert of the TOP 10 members from the first season has been realized, generating cheers from trot fans. In this regard, Song Ga-in's agency, Jay Zee Star, noted, "The members are directly participating in the performance production and expressing their opinions, sweating for the fans who have waited so long." The joint concert of the 'Mistrot' TOP 10, which has grown over the six years, is garnering expectations.

'Mistrot' is the program that opened the floodgates of the Korean trot craze and is considered the starting point of trot auditions. Aired in the first half of 2019, it recorded a peak rating of 18.1%, marking a grand opening. TV Chosun, which had not shown a distinct strength among comprehensive programming channels, gained a syndrome-level popularity with 'Mistrot' and subsequently 'Mr. Trot,' securing a solid viewer base among middle-aged and elderly audiences.

Subsequently, during the pandemic caused by COVID-19, trot has established itself as a genre of K-pop. The phrase "always IMF" that referred to the past trot scene has become outdated as 'Mistrot' and 'Mr. Trot' have functioned as a brand. Various event organizers noted that "when they have experience appearing in 'Mistrot' and 'Mr. Trot,' the starting appearance fee changes to hundreds of thousands of won."

In particular, Song Ga-in continues to draw a fanbase and solidify her position as the next-generation trot queen. Recently, she made a shocking transformation by appearing on beauty YouTuber Lee Sa-bae's personal channel, showcasing idol makeup.

Moreover, the 'Mistrot' members revealed ambitious concert preparation plans through YouTube. Comedian-turned-singer Kim Na-hee stated, "Those who saw 'The Trot Show' stage and the event organizers mentioned that they reminisced, so I thought about creating a stage for the fans." It is expected that Song Ga-in, along with Kang Ye-seul, Kim Na-hee, Kim So-yu, Kim Hee-jin, Duri, Sook-hyung, Jeong Da-kyung, and Jeong Mi-ae will warmly greet fans once again.
