Touched returns with a golden homecoming.
Touched has been selected as the Friday headliner for the 'Beautiful Mint Festival' (hereinafter 'Buminra'), which was announced on the 14th. This marks the first time they will take the stage as a headliner, a position that every artist participating in the festival dreams of. This year’s other headliners for Buminra include YB, Ha Dong-kyun, Jung Seung-hwan, Silica Gel, George, Yoonha, Davichi, and Deimens. Since headliners are usually artists with many years of debut experience, the joining of Touched, who is in their 5th year since debut, is an exceptional achievement.
In particular, this stage holds special meaning for Touched. Touched presented their original song 'Alive' on the theme of "If you become a festival headliner, what kind of performance would you want to showcase?" during the final round of Mnet's 'Great Seoul Invasion,' and won the final victory with this song. They have showcased 'Alive' on various stages since then, but this will be the first time performing the song as a headliner. It’s an opportunity for the moment of their imagination to come to life on stage, expected to provide meaningful emotion to both the artist and fans.
Since winning 'Great Seoul Invasion,' Touched has continued to show steep growth with just one EP and two digital singles. While their stylish outfits based on suits, visuals reminiscent of idols, and the signature wrist scarf of vocalist Yoon-min are eye-catching, their true strength is revealed on stage. Composed of graduates from Seoul Arts College, their solid playing ability and vocal skill overwhelm the audience at each performance, establishing them as a band that goes beyond being a visual group.
Touched has steadily continued their musical growth centered around intense rock sounds. Earlier this year, Touched sold out their second solo concert at Olympic Hall in just one minute, securing their place as the top choice for booking at all festivals. This is due to their perfect understanding of each festival's characteristics and their performances that captivate the audience with powerful energy.
In particular, in the song 'Love is Dangerous,' vocalist Yoon-min passing the microphone to the audience and offering a performance to just one person leaves a strong impression. Their music and performances are able to resonate sincerely with the audience due to their unique strong individuality. As a 'high-end band' showcasing the personalities and charms of each member within the rough sound, Touched's brand is becoming even more solid.
Meanwhile, Touched has announced active activities for the second half of the year starting with the Buminra headliner through the fan community Bstage. Attention is focused on what colors the music of Touched, who is currently intensifying their work on a new album, will bring out in its new form.
