In the midst of the aftermath of lead actor Go Minsi's 'school violence allegations,' Kang Ha-neul has decided to hold a series-ending interview.
According to OSEN's report on the 28th, Kang Ha-neul has decided to conduct a media interview regarding ENA's 'Tastefully Yours,' which will end on June 10th.
In this regard, Kang Ha-neul's side told OSEN that "Kang Ha-neul plans to hold an interview regarding the series finale" and added, "We are currently coordinating schedules as there is also the Netflix series 'Squid Game' Season 3 set to be revealed soon."
Currently, Kang Ha-neul is playing the role of 'Han Beom-woo' in the Genie TV original drama 'Tastefully Yours.' As the series has reached its latter half, Kang Ha-neul has showcased a full-fledged romance with Go Minsi, and the work achieved global success by reaching number one in 17 countries on Netflix, including South Korea, and entering the TOP 10 in 53 countries.
However, recent allegations of 'school violence' against actress Go Minsi have directly and indirectly affected the production and cast. In an online community, people claiming to be Go Minsi's middle school classmates posted a message titled 'Victims of actor Go OO's school violence,' asserting that the individual engaged in physical assault, extortion, verbal abuse, mockery of disabled students, theft, and bullying during middle school, sparking controversy.
Following speculation that the actor in question is Go Minsi, her agency, Mystic Story, stated on the 26th that "We are already aware of the school violence allegations posted in the online community" and strongly denied the claims, saying, "After consulting with the actor and others, we found the allegations to be entirely unfounded."
Nonetheless, the specific statements from the alleged victims created a significant reaction online, and attention has turned to whether the series-ending interview for 'Tastefully Yours' will proceed. With the series ending in about two weeks, it is common to coordinate interview schedules; however, the major cast members, including Go Minsi, are currently in a state of indecision regarding their schedules.
