It has been 18 years since actor Yeo Jae-goo, familiar to viewers as a re-enactment actor on 'Surprise,' passed away.
Born in 1970, Yeo Jae-goo embarked on his acting career as a theater actor in 1992. He ignited his passion for acting in historical dramas such as 'Heo Jun,' 'Sang Do,' 'Yain Era,' 'Dae Jang Geum,' 'Jang Gil-san,' 'Hero Era,' 'Immortal Yi Sun-shin,' 'Seo Dong-yo,' 'Shin Don,' 'Ju Mong,' and 'Hwang Jin Yi' in supporting roles.
In the early 2000s, he made his mark on viewers as a re-enactment actor on MBC's 'Mystic TV Surprise.' However, on May 28, 2007, he took his own life at his home in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, at the age of 38.
Three days before his death, Yeo participated in the recording of the 'Truth or False Corner' segment for 'Mystic TV Surprise,' just as he did on other occasions. However, he left the world with an extreme choice before the broadcast, and the production team decided to redo the filming, believing that airing that segment would not be proper respect for the deceased.
It has already been 18 years since the deceased left the side of their loved ones. May 28 is a date that is particularly poignant when recalling his three-character name.
