MBC's representative entertainment program "Born to Travel the World 4" (hereinafter "TaeGyeIlJu 4," directed by Kim Ji-woo) has entered its third week on air, breaking records for both viewership and popularity and continuing its remarkable growth.
In Good Day Corporation's popularity survey, "TaeGyeIlJu 4" has ranked first for two consecutive weeks in the TV non-drama institutional sector on Sundays, demonstrating its outstanding popularity. It also climbed to fifth place in the TV-OTT integrated rankings, proving its solid position in the broadcasting industry.
Among the participants' popularity, Kian84 and Dex have formed a central axis, attracting significant attention. Kian84 ranked first in TV non-drama participants' popularity, while Dex ranked third, leading overall viewer interest in the program. Along with their strong presence, as the journey intensifies, the relationships and chemistry of the "KipasiDex" four brothers are highlighting key viewing points.
In the third episode, the members were depicted entering a Nepalese Gurkha mercenary academy to challenge themselves with rigorous training. Dex passed the qualification criteria after a dramatic twist, solidifying his image as a "man strong in both entertainment and real-life," while Kian84 shared heartfelt exchanges with the academy students despite scoring "zero" in training, providing both laughter and emotional moments.
"TaeGyeIlJu 4" is receiving extensive attention across various platforms, including OTT popularity rankings, search responses, and community posts, raising viewer immersion to a peak.
In the VON (online public opinion) sector, it ranked within the top two of the non-drama sector, showing that viewers' spontaneous reactions and word-of-mouth are spreading rapidly. The active mention volume based on community engagement is driving real-time responsiveness to the program and forming a loyal fandom.
The production team noted, "The key to the rising trend is that the sincerity and emotions of the four during their extreme journey are conveyed directly to the audience," and added, "We ask for much anticipation on what new fun and resonance the upcoming long journey will bring."
Meanwhile, "TaeGyeIlJu 4" airs every Sunday at 9:10 p.m., and behind-the-scenes videos and unreleased content are also being made available through the official YouTube channel "TaeGyeIlJu Base Camp."
