Sung Hanbin, a member of the group ZEROBASEONE, will make his debut as the sole MC.
Sung Hanbin will take the stage as the MC for the Mnet show 'World of Street Woman Fighter (WSWF)', which will air for the first time today at 10 p.m.
Sung Hanbin has worked as a host for various programs, including Mnet's 'M Countdown', 'M Countdown in France', and 'KCON JAPAN 2025', but this will be his first time as a sole MC leading a program from beginning to end since his debut. Having previously worked as a dancer, he is expected to provide an authentic approach to dance to help viewers understand.
Sung Hanbin also has a unique determination to serve as the sole MC for 'WSWF'. He has been diligently preparing by re-watching all previous series of 'Suwpa' and personally searching for performance videos of the six crews that will compete in the global dance battle.
As a highlight of the first broadcast, he pointed out the battle to identify the weaker contestants. Sung Hanbin said, "You must see it. You will regret it if you don’t," adding, "It’s an honor to finally get to see the performances of dancers I've only encountered through videos, and the fierce battles befitting the first broadcast were very impressive."
Sung Hanbin also added, "As an MC, I will strive to create the best environment for the participants to showcase their top skills. I want to be remembered as an MC who doesn't miss anything from hosting to visuals, dance, and reactions. I think my genuine reactions will become another fun point in enjoying 'WSWF'".
Sung Hanbin is not only selected as the MC for 'World of Street Woman Fighter' but is also actively involved in singing the fight's main theme song 'Champion'. 'Champion' is a tense hip-hop genre based on powerful drums and grand brass sounds, capturing the strong aspirations of each team wanting to become a 'champion' on a global stage through Sung Hanbin's delicate yet solid vocal tone.
Meanwhile, 'World of Street Woman Fighter', featuring Sung Hanbin as the MC, will be broadcast today at 10 p.m. on Mnet. Ahead of this, the fight's main theme song 'Champion' will be released on various music streaming sites at 6 p.m.
