"My Little Old Boy" featured actress Lee Da-hae, who drew attention by confessing to having experienced pre-wedding marriage blues alongside the incident of the groom Se7en going missing during the wedding ceremony.
In the episode of SBS's "My Little Old Boy" broadcast on the 25th, heartfelt advice from senior married couples was shared ahead of the wedding of the Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min couple. Lee Da-hae drew attention by confessing to the emotional ups and downs she experienced before marriage along with the stories after the wedding ceremony.
Lee Da-hae revealed, "On the day of the wedding, there was a line waiting for the bride, but the groom Se7en was nowhere to be found." He had gone missing. She continued, "It was time to enter the venue, but he was still missing. When I called him, he showed up drenched in sweat and said, 'Did you call?'" recalling the absurd situation at the time.
It turns out Se7en was filming a challenge video with Taeyang at the entrance of the wedding venue. Lee Da-hae humorously stated, "He showed up looking disheveled, his hair all messed up, but acted as if nothing was wrong," while adding, "The reason I cried at the ceremony that day was not because of emotion but because I was furious," making everyone burst into laughter.
In particular, Lee Da-hae shared that she experienced severe emotional turmoil before marriage, commonly referred to as "marriage blues." She reminisced, "Two weeks before the wedding, I felt like I wasn’t myself. I became extremely sensitive, cried a lot, and questioned, 'Is this the right person for me?'"
She also mentioned, "I suddenly exploded and yelled at times in front of acquaintances. Se7en looked at me as if to say, 'What’s wrong with her?'" She added, "At that time, I didn't even know it was marriage blues, but my acquaintances helped a lot, and later, Se7en empathized with me and felt a sense of solidarity." Lee Da-hae offered heartfelt advice to her junior Kim Ji-min, saying, "Caring for the bride is really important. Marriage blues are very real."
Meanwhile, the Kim Jun-ho and Kim Ji-min couple is set to marry on July 13. In that day's broadcast, various episodes unfolded, including Kim Jun-ho contemplating broadcasting his proposal and honeymoon, and a mishap with the wedding song.
