Actress Lim Sung-eun faced a shocking situation just nine days after her wedding when controversies regarding her husband arose.

Previously, Lim Sung-eun announced her marriage to a non-celebrity businessman in April, sparking interest. Then, on the 17th, just one month later, she held her wedding at the JW Marriott Hotel in Gangnam, Seoul, officially joining the ranks of married women.

The ceremony was reportedly conducted in a quiet and warm atmosphere, attended only by family and close friends. The hosts were Lee Teuk and Byun Ki-soo, and notable figures, including former Prime Minister Jeong Se-kyun and Vice Speaker of the National Assembly Joo Ho-young, sent congratulatory wreaths, drawing attention.

However, just nine days after the marriage, on the 26th, Dispatch reported that Lim Sung-eun's husband, known as Mr. A, was implicated in a real estate fraud case involving a housing cooperative, causing a stir.

According to reports, Mr. A is currently under investigation and facing trial for real estate fraud allegations amounting to around 20 billion won, and he is known to have been found guilty of real estate fraud three times in the past.

Additionally, Mr. A is under suspicion of collecting hundreds of billions of won from thousands of cooperative members under the guise of agency fees and shared contributions, and it is reported that the members protested by commenting on a mobile invitation, “A luxurious wedding with members’ money?”

Furthermore, according to reports, during a call with creditors before the marriage, Mr. A mentioned, "Sung-eun can manage because her family is well-off," and the reason the couple traveled to Jeju Island for their honeymoon was due to Mr. A being subject to a travel ban. There are also suspicions that this is not his first marriage, but rather his third.

In connection with this, Lim Sung-eun's agency indicated that they are in a difficult position regarding the actress's private life but are confirming the allegations.

It remains to be seen whether Lim Sung-eun, facing a crisis less than ten days after her wedding, will directly address the allegations against her husband.
