Broadcaster Jung Joon-ha successfully completed the 'Infinite Challenge Run with Coupang Play.'
On the 25th, Jung Joon-ha successfully completed the 'Infinite Challenge Run with Coupang Play' with a record time of 1 hour, 14 minutes, and 5 seconds at Yeouido Park in the Yeongdeungpo District of Seoul.
After successfully completing the 10km, Jung Joon-ha said, "I wanted to give up several times along the way, but it was the first time in my life that I heard 'Jung Joon-ha, you can do it' so many times. Thanks to those who supported me and stayed with me while smiling even in tough times, I was able to muster my strength."
Jung Joon-ha playfully stated, "I drank a lot of water in the middle, but I sweated even more than that. I tried using a nipple patch, but it was useless." He added, "I still have a long way to go, and life itself is an 'infinite challenge.' I hope that everyone, not just me, can remember the challenge they took on today and realize that their infinite challenge in life is not over, and they will continue to take on challenges."
Yoon Si-yoon, who served as the pace maker, remarked, "When we first practiced, I gave up at 5km and was running slowly, but today, he did really well." He continued, "I never thought he would finish. Today, he ran at a speed of about 8.5."
On this day, Jung Joon-ha ran alongside Yoon Si-yoon and others. Yoon Si-yoon helped adjust Jung Joon-ha's pace and attracted attention with sweet gestures, like wiping his sweat. Jung Joon-ha managed his pace with Yoon Si-yoon's assistance and expressed his gratitude for the enthusiastic support of participants with the 'Infinite Challenge' gesture.
Earlier, Park Myung-soo had expressed doubts about whether Jung Joon-ha would finish, saying, "I don't think he will finish. His body feels heavy. It will be burdensome to run 10km. Yoon Si-yoon is helping him as the pace maker, but because of his age, I told him to do a certain amount and then come out."
Jung Joon-ha defied Park Myung-soo's expectations and successfully completed the race. At the moment when the participant who placed first crossed the finish line, Park Myung-soo, who had run half the distance, successfully crossed the finish line with a time in the 70-minute range.
Meanwhile, Jung Joon-ha visited a fasting center that aired last year on KBS2's 'The Boss's Ears Are Donkey Ears,' where his health was called into question. The fasting center's director stated, "It is serious," after examining Jung Joon-ha’s health. Jung Joon-ha's reported weight and body fat percentage were 119kg and 40.3%, respectively. The director warned, "Looking at the visceral fat rate, treatment is required. He needs to lose 26kg based on his weight."
