EXO member and solo artist Baekhyun has expanded the scope of his new album activities globally.
Baekhyun released his fifth mini album 'Essence of Reverie' on the 19th and has continued his new song activities through various content. He met fans over two weeks with colorful stages starting from the music broadcast stage of the pre-released song 'Chocolate' to the title track 'Elevator', and appeared in popular YouTube content, showcasing his delicate vocals and variety skills.
Additionally, known as a self-proclaimed 'fan lover,' Baekhyun is conducting various offline events to communicate more closely with fans. From the 22nd to the 28th, he will open a pop-up store at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeouido, presenting various content such as an exhibition tailored to the album concept.
Global events for overseas fans will also continue. To celebrate the U.S. release of the new album, pop-up events will be held from May 23 to 25 (local time) in eight cities: Los Angeles, Atlanta, San Diego, Murfreesboro, Orlando, Seattle, Tempe, and Washington D.C., providing fans with a special experience. In particular, the album will be officially sold at major offline stores in the U.S. such as Target, Walmart, and Barnes & Noble, marking the start of full-scale global expansion.
Through such activities that transcend online and offline, Baekhyun achieved significant results with this album. Simultaneously upon release, he topped the iTunes top album chart in 24 regions and the top song chart in 14 regions, and the album sales surpassed the sales trend of the previous work, exceeding 1 million copies in just three days. This figure recorded the highest first-week sales for an album by a solo artist released in 2025.
Meanwhile, Baekhyun is set to hold his first solo world tour 'Reverie's Seoul performance' at the KSPO Dome in Seoul on June 7 and 8, opening the curtain for the full-scale tour.
