MBC 'Home Alone' Kian84 once again delivered a heartfelt emotional moment in the living room. His sincerity shown while volunteering to paint a mural at an orphanage with his juniors from his alma mater, along with the innocence captured in the 'four-leaf clover' gifted by the children, warmed the hearts of the viewers. As a result, the household rating peaked at 7.7%, ranking first among all programs aired on Friday for the 2049 demographic.

On the broadcast of MBC 'Home Alone' on the 23rd, directed by Heo Hang, Kang Ji-hee, Park Soo-bin, Kim Jin-kyung, Lee Kyung-eun, and Moon Ki-young, Kian84 was shown volunteering to paint a mural at an orphanage with his juniors from his alma mater, while SHINee's Key was seen enjoying some healing in his hometown of Gangwon Province.

According to the ratings research company Nielsen Korea on the 24th, the household rating for 'Home Alone' broadcast the previous day was 6.2% in the metropolitan area, ranking first in its time slot and first among Friday entertainment programs. Additionally, the key 2049 demographic rating, a significant indicator for advertisers and a measure of channel competitiveness, was 3.0% (in the metropolitan area), also ranking first in its time slot and first among all Friday programs.

The peak moment was when Kian84 received a 'four-leaf clover' gift from the children at the orphanage (at 11:56 p.m.). The moment the children eagerly presented the treasure-like 'four-leaf clover,' their pure hearts were conveyed, bringing warmth to the viewers. Consequently, the rating soared to a high of 7.7%.

About seven years ago, Kian84 visited an orphanage where he had volunteered and donated with a younger acquaintance. He mentioned that this place had connections from when he was busy with webtoon serialization, and this time, he returned to volunteer for mural painting for the children. The constant acts of charity and volunteerism by 'Goodman84' Kian84 amazed friend Jo, who remarked, 'The more I see, the more genuine he is.' Kian84 added meaning by participating in the mural painting with juniors he had met during a lecture at his alma mater last year. Unlike his juniors who quickly filled the walls in a lively atmosphere, Kian84 was often absorbed in sketching and even lay down flat at one point.

After sweating alongside the juniors, Kian84 treated them to lunch and drew attention by mentioning popular younger artists GD and BTS's Jin in the discussion about the lineup of invited singers for his alma mater's festival. However, he humorously confessed, 'I don’t even know GD’s phone number,' eliciting laughter. After sending the juniors off due to class schedules, Kian84 focused on the mural work, thinking of the delighted children, with help from the orphanage's staff.

The children who saw Kian84's mural exclaimed, 'You painted it well!' and couldn't take their eyes off it. Kian84 filled the empty spaces of the mural with drawings of bananas, blueberries, and other illustrations favored by the children upon their request. Kian84’s mural was filled with smiling illustrations, reflecting his heartfelt affection for the kids. In response, the children presented gifts to the hardworking 'Uncle84' Kian84, stirring emotions.

After completing eight hours of mural work, Kian84 remarked, 'I regret that the drawing itself is lacking. I wanted to draw a moon if there was a sun, but I was disappointed by the time constraints.' He also expressed, 'Since murals are something that get covered and continuously layered, I think it might have meaning when new drawings are added on top of them.' He conveyed his hope for the children to create new drawings in the future, eliciting warmth.
