Lee Jung-hyun and director Park Chan-wook revealed their extraordinary friendship.
In the episode of KBS2's Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant that aired on the 23rd, Lee Jung-hyun met director Park Chan-wook at the Jeonju International Film Festival.
Lee Jung-hyun attended the Jeonju International Film Festival's GV. Lee Jung-hyun said, "Today I will be with a rather special person." That person is the world-renowned master, director Park Chan-wook.
Lee Jung-hyun said, "When I said that I was invited to the Jeonju International Film Festival, the director came right away." Lee Jung-hyun mentioned that they first worked together in director Park Chan-wook's film 'The Handmaiden.'
Director Park Chan-wook talked about his past connection with Lee Jung-hyun. Director Park said, "I didn't even know her contact information, so I asked actor Choi Min-sik for it and contacted her. When I mentioned it, she said she would do it and would look at the script while coming over," and added, "To me, Lee Jung-hyun is an actress that heaven has sent."
