The 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant' Lee Jung-hyun has finally fulfilled her dream of becoming a film director.

On the 23rd, the KBS 2TV 'Stars' Top Recipe at Fun-Staurant' (hereafter 'Fun-Staurant') revealed the moment when Lee Jung-hyun achieved her dream of becoming a film director, a dream she held since her 20s. Not only has she reached the peak of her primary careers in acting and singing, but she also did not abandon her dream of becoming a film director, even after experiencing marriage and childbirth. It was a time when the passion Lee Jung-hyun had for her dream drew support from director Park Chan-wook and the audience.

On that day, Lee Jung-hyun attended the Jeonju International Film Festival not as an actress but as a director. Her first directorial work, 'Going to the Flower Viewing,' was invited to the Korean Cinema section of the Jeonju International Film Festival. The screening ticket for 'Going to the Flower Viewing,' which deals with the story of a mother and daughter trapped in the welfare blind spot, sold out, drawing a hot response. 'I couldn't sleep because I was so nervous,' Lee Jung-hyun said, greeting the audience with a bright introduction: 'I am Lee Jung-hyun, who has challenged herself as an actress, singer, and now as a director.' Her adorable daughter, Seo-ah, made a surprise appearance and cheerfully supported her mother's challenge.

Additionally, Lee Jung-hyun was selected as this year's programmer for the Jeonju International Film Festival, following directors Yeon Sang-ho and Heo Jin-ho, to meet with the audience. On that day, at Lee Jung-hyun's request, the renowned director Park Chan-wook, representing South Korea, hurriedly came to the event. Lee Jung-hyun and director Park Chan-wook, who formed a bond through the short film 'The Ties That Bind,' have maintained a friendship to this day. Director Park Chan-wook also directed a music video for Lee Jung-hyun as a first.

On that day, director Park Chan-wook also took special time for Lee Jung-hyun after the event. Lee Jung-hyun presented homemade plum extract and versatile soy sauce as gifts. Director Park Chan-wook, known as a gourmet, mentioned that he became a fan of 'Fun-Staurant' thanks to Lee Jung-hyun. He candidly shared his first meeting with Lee Jung-hyun, her charm and strength as an actress, and his sincere support for her first steps as a film director.

Director Park Chan-wook recalled their first meeting, saying, 'I never expected the day would come when I would work with Lee Jung-hyun. Looking back at that time, I thought, 'Lee Jung-hyun is the actress heaven has destined for me. This is fate.' He also mentioned, 'Lee Jung-hyun is an ordinary person in a good sense, but when she acts, she sends chills down people's spines. I wonder how she can change so naturally.'

Director Park Chan-wook also revealed the story of how he gifted Lee Jung-hyun a CD of the film 'The Orchid.' Director Park said, 'In the movie 'The Orchid,' 16-year-old Lee Jung-hyun delivered a phenomenal performance that will remain in the history of Korean cinema. It's unfortunate that I couldn't watch that film because I was young at the time.' Lee Jung-hyun expressed her gratitude, saying, 'It was a big gift at a time when my confidence in acting was waning.' Director Park continued, 'You should try doing a feature film since you've done well with the short film, directing and acting in it yourself.'

The all-round goddess Lee Jung-hyun, who always puts in her best efforts for acting, singing, home management, parenting, and her dream, also approached menu development with the same dedication. On that day, Lee Jung-hyun's 'Change the Cream! Green Onion Cream Pasta' won first place amid the menu evaluation committee's enthusiastic praise in the noodle dish competition. Lee Jung-hyun's 'Change the Cream! Green Onion Cream Pasta' will be released as a frozen lunch menu by OURHOME and can be purchased right after the broadcast.
