Bong Eun-hee from 'Run or Die' receives heartfelt support from her 'best friend' Kim Sung-lyung.
In the 6th episode of the special project variety show 'Run or Die' celebrating the 30th anniversary of MBN, which airs tonight at 8:20 p.m., the 'Run-Dang Crew' finally faces their first 'half marathon' (21.0975km) in Boseong, Jeollanam-do.
After completing the 'Sunset Marathon' 10km, the 'Run-Dang Crew', who are about to face the 'half marathon', starts intensive preparations while receiving support from family and friends. Among them, 'eldest sister' Bong Eun-hee enjoys a healing time meeting actress Kim Sung-lyung, a friend of 20 years. The two have maintained a special friendship since they connected through the 2005 drama 'Don't Worry'. On that day, Kim Sung-lyung appears with two hands full of gifts for Bong Eun-hee, including joint health supplements, a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and packaged galbitang. She then encourages Bong Eun-hee by saying, "I can't believe you completed the 10km marathon. That's amazing. Thank you for starting to exercise." Bong Eun-hee praises, "Every time you nagged me to exercise, I brushed it off, but once I started marathoning, you were genuinely happier than anyone else. Kim Sung-lyung is the pace maker of my life!"
Kim Sung-lyung previously sent a video message to Bong Eun-hee during the 'Sunset Marathon', fervently cheering her on. Kim Sung-lyung said, "Are we just regular friends? I attended your wedding twice, even though you didn't invite me..." making Bong Eun-hee feel dizzy. She then shouted, "Our Bong Eun-hee is not dead yet! You can do it!" empowering Bong Eun-hee.
Kim Seung-jin also shows his determination to complete the 'half marathon' by doing 'uphill training' with comedians Yang Se-hyung, Yoo Se-yoon, and Nam Tae-ryeong. Choi Jun-seok, receiving support from his wife, son, and daughter, pledges, "I will definitely complete it" while continuing his running training. Sleepy shares the joyful news that his second child was born while diligently running alone, demonstrating his dedication to the marathon.
Finally, the day of the 'half marathon' competition arrives, and the 'Run-Dang Crew' receives the mission to complete the half marathon within the time limit of 3 hours. However, as it starts to rain before the event, An Seong-hoon and Yul-hee express their concern, asking, "Why does it rain every time we run a marathon?" It remains to be seen how much the 'Run-Dang Crew' has grown in the 'half marathon' amid the gloomy weather, which can be confirmed in the 6th episode of the special project variety show 'Run or Die', airing tonight at 8:20 p.m.
