Comedian Shim Hyung-rae revealed the circumstances behind his divorce despite his astonishing income.
On the upcoming broadcast of MBN's 'Dongchimi' on the 24th, the theme 'Reasons why husbands go out' will depict the conflicting views of "the husband who goes out to earn money vs. the wife who says he only goes out for enjoyment."
In particular, on this day’s broadcast, the leading figures in the comedy world who represented the three major broadcasting companies, Lim Ha-ryong, Lee Hong-ryeol, and Shim Hyung-rae, will gather for the first time, attracting attention. The comedy legends, who noted that "this is the first time the three are together in a broadcast," will captivate viewers with delightful talks and the 'seeing again the passing mountains' comedy corner of the Lim Ha-ryong and Lee Hong-ryeol duo, showcased for the first time in nearly 30 years.
On this day, Shim Hyung-rae maintained that the reason his husband goes out is "to earn money and support the family." He added, "It wasn't always just to earn money, but during busy days with movie shoots and business, I couldn't go home often." He noted, "While most people were gone for about one or two nights, I was out for 3 to 4 months. As a result, I ended up getting divorced and going out. After failing in business investments, I ultimately got divorced.
Shim Hyung-rae, who noted he had "made a lot of money at one point," also shared stories of his massive income during his heyday, surprising everyone.
