HYBE and Geffen Records' global girl group KATSEYE is shaking up the global music market, positioning itself as the 'next-generation pop icon'.

According to the UK Official Chart released on the 23rd (local time), KATSEYE's 'Gnarly' has landed at 90th on this week's 'Official Singles Top 100' (for the period of May 23-29). This marks its third consecutive entry since it first debuted at 52nd (for the period of May 9-15).

KATSEYE is also continuing to gain immense popularity on Spotify, the world's largest music streaming platform. 'Gnarly' rose three spots to 42nd on the 'Daily Top Songs Global' (for May 22), while it remained at 46th on the 'Weekly Top Songs Global' (based on the period of May 16-22). The cumulative streaming count over the past week reached 14.29 million.

'Gnarly' has also been included in Spotify's recently released 'Songs of Summer 2025' forecast list, being recognized as one of the global hit songs representing this summer. This is an indication of the steady love anticipated from music fans rather than a 'flash in the pan' popularity.

KATSEYE has previously made a mark on main U.S. Billboard charts as well. 'Gnarly' first debuted at 92nd on the 'Hot 100' (for May 17) and later ranked 46th on the 'Global 200' and 31st on the 'Global (excluding the U.S.)' latest charts (for May 24), showing an upward trend.

'Gnarly' is characterized by an audacious sound that combines hyper-pop with dance and punk elements. This, along with KATSEYE's unique and groundbreaking performance, has captured the eyes and ears of music fans around the world.

The music video for the song achieved first place on the trending music videos section on YouTube in the U.S., U.K., Canada, Austria, Australia, and more, on the day of its release. The comeback stage video they showcased on Korean music broadcasts has also been shared widely across various social media platforms, generating buzz and driving popularity.

KATSEYE will release its second EP 'BEAUTIFUL CHAOS' on June 27.
