Actor Ryu Kyung-soo has ventured into television after conquering the screen.

Ryu Kyung-soo, who received acclaim for his role as Jo Hoon in the film YADANG: The Snitch, which surpassed 3 million viewers, is set to once again forge a life-changing character in the tvN weekend drama Our Unwritten Seoul, which is scheduled to premiere today (24th).

Our Unwritten Seoul is a romantic coming-of-age drama where twin sisters, who differ in every way except appearance, exchange lives through a lie in search of true love and life.

In this project, Ryu Kyung-soo will portray Han Se-jin, a first-time farmer who has abandoned all career pursuits to start a strawberry farm, showcasing a different side from his previous works. Most notably, he defined the role of Han Se-jin as "a peculiar character," raising curiosity among prospective viewers about who this character truly is.

Previously, Ryu Kyung-soo captured the essence of Jo Hoon, the son of a presidential candidate who fears nothing in the world and embodies a sense of entitlement, detailing his characteristics precisely throughout the runtime, which heightened the tension and dramatic stakes.

In particular, he noted, "I wanted him to resemble more of a rascal than a villain," creating his own interpretation of Jo Hoon. He adeptly shifted between the aspects of Jo Hoon, who would throw tantrums when things did not go his way but would display childlike joy once he achieved what he wanted, leaving a strong impression.

Thus, Ryu Kyung-soo has proven his versatile acting ability, fully embodying each character in every work. As he transitions between screen and television, many are focused on the new acting transformation Ryu Kyung-soo will showcase.

Meanwhile, the tvN weekend drama Our Unwritten Seoul, starring Ryu Kyung-soo, will premiere today (24th) at 9:20 p.m.
