Actor Kwon Yul is becoming a newlywed.
Kwon Yul will hold his wedding today, April 24, at a church in a certain location in Seoul. The ceremony will be conducted privately in consideration of the non-celebrity bride and both families.
Notably, according to those in the entertainment industry, Kwon Yul's wedding will take place as a solemn church ceremony. In fact, Kwon Yul had previously revealed that he is a devout Protestant through various broadcasts.
Kwon Yul's marriage was publicized just a week before the ceremony on the 19th. On that day, Kwon Yul's current agency, Jay Wide Company, told OSEN, "Kwon Yul has met a precious relationship he wishes to be with for life and will tie the knot on May 24," adding, "The wedding is planned to be conducted privately in a certain location in Seoul in consideration of the non-celebrity fiancée and both families."
Kwon Yul's acting career will continue after marriage. The agency noted, "We ask for warm blessings and support for Kwon Yul, who is about to make a new start in life," and added, "Kwon Yul plans to show great performances through various works as an actor in the future."
Kwon Yul is an actor who debuted in 2007 with the SBS drama "Run, Mackerel." Notably, he is also the nephew of veteran actor Choi Myung-gil. Choi Myung-gil is Kwon Yul's biological aunt. However, he did not reveal this information until eight years after his debut, setting an example by not relying on the influence of a star family.
He has built a diverse filmography, including films such as "Vicious Woman," "The King’s Case Note," "Roaring Currents," "Park Yeol," and "The Outlaws," as well as dramas like tvN's "Uwa Han Nyeo," "Let's Eat 2," "Mental Coach Je Gal-gil," SBS's "You're Under Arrest," "Whisper," OCN's "Voice Season 2-3," KBS 2TV's "Dal Ri and Gam Ja Tang," KakaoTV's "My Daughter-in-law 1-2," and ENA's "I've Been Waiting for You for a Long Time." In addition, he has been active in MBC's entertainment program "Omniscient Interfering View" and tvN's entertainment show "Outside the Tent is Europe."
