Disney's executive drew the line, noting it as "the actor's private life" regarding the series 'Made in Korea,' starring Jung Woo-sung.

On the morning of the 23rd, the 'Disney+ Open House' event was held on the 7th floor of the Gangnam Finance Center in Yeoksam-dong, Seoul, which is the headquarters of Walt Disney Company Korea. Attendees included Choi Yeon-woo, the head of local content at Walt Disney Company Korea, Kim Won-guk, the representative of the new original series 'Made in Korea,' and Yu Jeong-hun, the representative of 'Killers.'

This year, 2025, Disney+ plans to captivate global subscribers with a strong lineup. Starting with the January premiere of 'Trigger' starring Kim Hye-soo, the platform introduced several original series in the first half of the year, including the medical thriller 'Hyper Knife' featuring Sul Kyung-gu and Park Eun-bin, and the new series 'Nine Puzzles' starring Kim Da-mi and Son Suk-ku. In the second half of the year, 'Low Life' starring Ryu Seung-ryong, Yang Se-jong, and Lim Soo-jung, 'Polaris' featuring Jun Ji-hyun and Gang Dong-won, 'The Murky Stream' with Rowoon and Shin Ye Eun, and 'The Manipulated' featuring Ji Chang-wook and Doh Kyung Soo are all anticipated.

'Made in Korea' is undoubtedly considered the most anticipated project among many contents. Top star Hyun Bin and Jung Woo-sung are starring in this series, which reportedly has a production budget of 70 billion won. However, during the filming of this series, controversies regarding Jung Woo-sung's extramarital child with Moon Gabi emerged.

In response to related questions, Disney's executive stated, "That part is the actor's private life, so it's difficult for us to answer."

On that day, Kim Won-guk, the representative of the production company HYBE, showed high confidence ahead of the new release.

He mentioned, "I don't often promote my work. I do it when a strong film comes out; otherwise, I refrain. However, during 'Spring in Seoul,' I did intense PR and said, 'An incredible film will come out,' but this time with 'Made in Korea,' all of HYBE's production and operational capabilities were poured into it with Disney's excellent support. I believe a strong work will come out this time as well. The production team has done a great job, and it will be a very powerful drama. You can really look forward to it. Disney, along with our company, will change the landscape of the Korean K-drama industry when 'Made in Korea' is released."
