Singer So-you expressed anger after seeing herself on the audition program.
At the production presentation of the new ENA music entertainment program 'House of Girls' held online on the morning of the 23rd, MC and managing director Lee Yi-kyung, artist maker Kim Yoon-ah, Yang Dong-geun (YDG), Shin Yong-jae, and So-you attended and shared their thoughts.
'House of Girls' is a music entertainment program that contains a 100-day music story where 10 untitled artists release compilation sound sources through their respective missions. Artist makers include Kim Yoon-ah, Yang Dong-geun, Shin Yong-jae, and So-you, while managing director and MC Lee Yi-kyung will lead.
As the journey to create a trio multi-musician unit begins in earnest, the '10 Untitled Artists,' who will show their growth story over 100 days, include Bam-sae, Byu, Seori, Sian, Ara, Yeong-joo, Yoo-ah, Yul, Gisel, and Kises.
On that day, So-you noted, "Honestly, when I received the offer, I felt burdened, thinking, 'Can I do this?' Seeing the lineup with such outstanding seniors, I thought maybe I didn't have to be there. I think I thought that first, and I was too much looking forward to it."
She continued, "At some point, my image seemed to scare the judges when I appeared. It's just that in the broadcast, it looks like I only give the stick, not the carrot. But on the show, it seems the stick always comes out instead of the carrot," expressing her regrets.
In response, Shin Yong-jae mentioned, "They say only the stick comes out in the broadcast, but I think it was about 2 carrots to 8 sticks," referring to what he observed from the side. Kim Yoon-ah also joked, "Was there a carrot?" bringing laughter.
Meanwhile, ENA's 'House of Girls' will premiere today (the 23rd) at 11 p.m.
