Voice actor Lim Soo-a of 'Detective Conan' passed away on the 22nd.
According to the Korea Voice Acting Association on the 23rd, the late Lim Soo-a left this world on the 22nd at the age of 73.
The late Lim joined TBC as part of the fourth cohort in 1968 and was later classified as a KBS voice actor from the tenth cohort due to media consolidation. They frequently grants Disney animations at one time and continued to be active in dubbing foreign works for KBS afterwards.
The late Lim Soo-a was involved in animations such as 'Casper the Friendly Ghost,' 'Detective Conan,' 'The Sand Fairy,' 'Future Boy Conan,' 'Anne of Green Gables,' 'We Are Champions,' 'Sleeping Beauty,' 'Pocahontas,' foreign films 'Memoirs of a Geisha,' 'While You Were Sleeping,' 'Liar Liar,' 'Romeo and Juliet,' 'Minority Report,' 'Men in Black,' 'Gone with the Wind,' 'Billy Elliot,' 'Desperate Housewives,' 'If Only,' 'Il Postino,' and the 'Harry Potter' series.
The news of Lim Soo-a's passing was made known through junior Jeong Seong-hun, who posted on personal social media, "I offer my condolences to Senior Lim Soo-a."
The mortuary is set up at Seoul National University Hospital funeral hall 11, with the funeral scheduled for 8 a.m. on the 24th. The burial site will be the Seoul Memorial Park.
