Jeong Eun-ji has fallen in love again.

In the 8th episode of the KBS 2TV Wednesday drama ’Pump Up the Healthy Love' (directed by Park Jun-soo and Choi Yeon-soo, scripted by Kim Ji-soo), which aired on the 22nd, member Lee Mi-ran (played by Jeong Eun-ji) realized that her fluttering feelings toward director Do Hyun-joong (played by Lee Jun-young) were not merely an illusion but love.

In yesterday’s broadcast, Hyun-joong struggled to send away his ex-girlfriend Kang-sol (played by Park Hae-in), who made a sudden appearance, by citing a somewhat absurd reason: “With glamorous outfits and makeup, personal emotions are forbidden outside of the gym!” However, the staff welcomed Kang-sol, a bestselling author and influencer with 1 million followers, with open arms upon her registration as a new member. Although Hyun-joong wanted to chase Kang-sol away immediately, he couldn’t hide his mixed feelings when the gym recorded its highest sales thanks to her presence.

Meanwhile, Mi-ran expressed her embarrassment at her heart reacting to Hyun-joong during workouts. Feeling insecure about the seemingly close relationship between Hyun-joong and Kang-sol, Mi-ran rationalized that her fluttering was just a physical illusion, attributing it to the ‘interval training effect.’ Her actions of applying the interval concept in diet management, such as eating tteokbokki while smelling salad, brought laughter.

During this time, Mi-ran quickly became close to Kang-sol, sharing the commonality of being gym members, and even learned about her past relationships. Kang-sol, who was always overshadowed by Hyun-joong in her relationship with him, revealed that she left saying, “Live alone for a lifetime with an unnecessarily broad chest!” Mi-ran, under the misconception that Kang-sol’s ex-boyfriend was Roy (played by Kim Kwon), listened to her story with sincere eyes.

Later, at Kang-sol’s suggestion, Mi-ran went on a blind date. Wanting to confirm that she could not possibly like a gym fanatic, Mi-ran nonchalantly agreed to the blind date, but even in front of the perfect date, Jung-han (played by Jeong Hyuk), her heart did not flutter.

Amid Kang-sol’s increasingly suspicious behavior, Hyun-joong faced the fact that the reason Kang-sol sought him out again was due to his ‘perfect body.’ Eventually, when Kang-sol suggested they meet at a hotel, Hyun-joong felt confused, knowing that he could not dismiss Kang-sol, who significantly contributed to the gym’s operations. After much thought, Hyun-joong decided to meet Kang-sol, successfully stimulating viewers' dopamine.

At the end of the broadcast, Mi-ran met Jung-han again but still felt her heart not beating and realized that her feelings for Hyun-joong were indeed love. She left her date with Jung-han in frustration and encountered Hyun-joong and Kang-sol coming out of the hotel together, misinterpreting the scene, which made her smile wryly. Faced with the harsh reality of realizing her feelings, Mi-ran turned away silently, leaving the two behind. The bittersweet ending leaves viewers eager for next week’s broadcast to see what path Mi-ran will take.
